9:17 am	I finally did it! I've finally taken the step to get away from selling on e-bay. I started my own site! www.creativeexpressionsbylove.net It's so cool to do this. I love to do crafts and it's great to have something that I can do that will help finance the ferrets and other critters here. It's been a dream of mine to be a stay at home Mom, and I do love it... BUT after 20+ years of working to help support the household and my critters, it's hard not being a contributing member of the house. Hopefully, with this site, I can continue to do the things I love and also feel useful. LOL Right now, I am mainly focusing on ferrets when it comes to toys and *portraits* but I do plan on expanding out and doing more faces. The Rememberances/memoriums are cool because they can be for any pet that has shared your love and heart. Plus! Their not really cookie cutter patterns! The person can pic the colors that they want for the names and heading, so each one will truly be individual and reflect their lives and tastes! I love seeing the choices that people are making. 11:50 am	2 gently used Martin's cages for sale!!! The ferrets are back to having their own room, so we are left with 2 large Martin's cages that are not being used. The first cage is the Ferret Penthouse, with the 3/4 top floor and no wire on the bottom floor. It is PVC coated and in great shape. 3 years ago, I paid about $250.00 for it and it has not been used for over 2 yrs. I bought it for them and then they got a room, so it was collapsed and stored. http://www.martinscages.com/images/full/f-470c.jpg The second cage is just a year old!!! It is the Martin's Townhouse with some wonderful modifications. The door openings on the top 2 floors were expanded and a 4th door was added to the 1/4 shelf. Again, no wire on bottom floor. Again PVC coated and this cage was used for only about 7 months! 12:59 pm	Tadpoles/Frogs A question. NFR Baby T. got some tadpoles for Christmas. Just something else so we can help him learn his brother's name, LOL. I haven't had tadpoles/frogs for years. These 2 still have no legs or buds. We clean their container-drain half & replace with Spring water- every other day. They are fed, 2-3 tiny pellets twice per day. They swim around very well, quite active in fact. My question is: This week we are noticing little bubbles along the floating around the rim of their enclosure. The water smells fine, or as fine as frog water can smell. LOL No odor. I don't know if the bubbles are something we need to worry about. I looked in the frog book wh got when these guys came home and I can't find an explaination. Anyone have a clue? Current Mood: curious (2 Comments |Comment on this)
